Mahjong Gardens uses traditional mahjong tiles, offering a familiar yet engaging experience. The game features five unique layouts:

- Ring – A circular arrangement for a fresh take on tile matching.

Objective & Gameplay
Your mission in Mahjong Gardens is to set the birds free by clearing the board of all tiles.
- Match two identical tiles to remove them.
- A tile is playable if at least one of its sides (left or right) is open.
- If no moves are available, you can use a hint or shuffle the tiles – but shuffling is limited to three times per game.
No Time Pressure!
Mahjong Gardens lets you enjoy the game without a ticking clock. Take as long as you need to find the perfect move.

Originally built using Flash technology, Mahjong Gardens is now playable through an emulator (Ruffle), allowing fans to continue enjoying the game.
Controls & Features
- Click on two matching tiles to remove them.
- Shuffle: Rearranges the remaining tiles (up to 3 times per game).
- Hint: Highlights a pair of tiles if you’re stuck.
- Pause: Freezes the timer when you need a break.
- New Game: Starts a fresh round.
- Navigation Arrows: Scroll around the board for better visibility.
The number of tiles left is displayed in the upper left corner of the game screen.
